Notice to Early Morning Golfers
We appreciate your enthusiasm and commitment to starting your rounds bright and early! We want to remind those of you who tee off before 7:00 a.m. (or from #10 before 9:00 a.m.) that our grounds crew needs to complete its tasks to ensure the course is in top condition for everyone.
Important Reminder: When teeing off from #1 before 7:00 a.m. or from #10 before 9:00 a.m., the grounds crew have the right of way. Please be patient and allow them to finish their tasks or wave you through, or simply pick up and move on to another hole.
The safety of our employees is a major concern for all of us. By giving our grounds crew the space and time they need, you help ensure their well-being and maintain the high standards of our course for all golfers.
Pace of Play: Recently, we’ve noticed that some early morning golfers are playing at an excessively fast pace, completing rounds in as little as 2 hours and 15 minutes. This is not typical and can significantly disrupt our maintenance schedule. If we have to stop our first morning jobs to let the first group or two through, it brings everything we do to a snail’s pace. We will never have an issue staying ahead of play if golfers maintain a pace of 3 hours and 15 minutes, or even better, 3 hours and 30 minutes. This ensures a smooth experience for everyone on the course.
For more insight into the extensive work our maintenance crew members accomplish in the early hours, please read the article at the link below. It provides a great understanding of their crucial role in keeping our course pristine.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Your patience helps maintain the high standards of our course for all golfers.
