Meet Your New Walking Partner: Tempo Walk Arrives at Ralph Myhre

With so much happening at Ralph Myhre Golf Course this season—from expanded dining at the Tavern on the Tee and Sunday Sessions live music to tournaments, lessons, and special events—one exciting addition may have slipped under the radar.

We’re excited to announce the arrival of four brand-new Club Car Tempo Walk robotic caddie carts.

If you’ve played Ralph Myhre before, you know one of the course’s best features is its walkability. The layout lends itself perfectly to a relaxing stroll through the Vermont countryside. For many golfers, walking is part of the experience—a chance to get some exercise, enjoy the scenery, and slow down for a few hours. The challenge? Carrying a golf bag for 18 holes isn’t always as enjoyable as the walk itself.

That’s where Tempo Walk comes in.

Think of it as your own personal robotic caddie. Load your clubs, press a button, and the cart follows along behind you as you make your way down the fairway. No pushing. No pulling. No carrying.

It’s the best of both worlds: all the benefits of walking the course without the burden of hauling your clubs.

We’ve offered the previous generation of robotic caddies for several years, and they quickly became a favorite among our golfers. In fact, they’ve been so popular that we recently upgraded our fleet with four brand-new Tempo Walk units to continue offering the experience.

They’re perfect for:

• Golfers who enjoy walking but don’t want to carry a bag
• Players looking to get more exercise during a round
• Anyone recovering from minor aches and pains that make carrying clubs uncomfortable
• Golfers who want to keep pace without the effort of pushing a cart
• Technology enthusiasts who simply think autonomous robots are cool (and let’s be honest, they are)

Beyond the fun factor, Tempo Walk encourages a healthier way to play. Studies continue to show the physical and mental benefits of walking a golf course, and these robotic caddies make that option accessible to even more players.

Of course, there’s also the undeniable novelty factor. Few things turn heads quite like a golf bag cruising down the fairway seemingly under its own power. It’s not unusual to see other golfers stop and ask, “What is that thing?”

Whether you’re a dedicated walker, curious about the latest golf technology, or simply looking for a new way to enjoy your next round, we invite you to give Tempo Walk a try.

After all, golf was meant to be walked—and now your clubs can do the heavy lifting.
