The Inaugural Ralph Cup Results
Two days, three formats, 28 players—and a finish that came down to the last putt on the last hole.
The inaugural Ralph Cup delivered all the drama of its Ryder Cup-inspired format as Team Politano and Team Earls battled through scramble, alternate-shot and singles competition at Ralph Myhre Golf Course.
Team Earls took control Saturday, winning both team sessions 4–3 to build an 8–6 lead. Team Politano answered Sunday, winning singles 8–6 and tying the match-play competition at 14 points apiece.
Final Match-Play Score
| Team Earls 14 |
Team Politano 14 |
The final match fittingly featured the two captains, Brennan Earls and Paul Politano. With Team Red needing the full point, Politano secured the win on the final hole and forced the deciding tiebreaker.
That brought Saturday afternoon’s putting competition back into play—and Team Red’s performance on the putting green proved to be the difference.
Congratulations to Team Politano, the inaugural Ralph Cup champions! Thank you to captains Paul Politano and Brennan Earls, co-captains Kirk Goodman and Shane Lawton, and all 28 players who made the first Ralph Cup an unforgettable weekend.
